I found a great blog titled “Making It As A Middle School
Teacher.” It was created by Michelle
Lundy, who is a certified teacher of grades 4-8 with concentrations in Math and
Science. Her blog offers information
about other blogs and online sources that are helpful for middle school
teachers, inexpensive and efficient products to enhance your classroom, and helpful
teaching strategies for mathematics.
Even though I do not plan to teach Math the blog still gave me helpful
tips that can work with any subject area. Also other teachers post things about their experiences in middle school. This blog relates to "This We Believe" under the characteristic: Leaders are committed to and knowledgeable about this age group, educational research, and best practices.
