Podcasts fit directly into the theme of Multiple Learning Approaches that is talked about in This We Believe. They are a perfect way to infuse a mix of interactive teaching and technology. Since they are housed on the internet they also give the students a chance to go back to them and review for tests or show friends that may be interested in the subject matter. Being able to view them later is not only beneficial for the students, but also for parents as a way yo stay engaged with what their children are learning.
Every student in your class is different and does not learn the same. Teachers need to have experience with different teaching strategies to ensure that all students can comprehend the content taught.
