with Cally Stockton, author of the book Minds
and Motion: Active learning for the Creative Classroom, discussing her
experiences. Routine activities such as taking attendance, classroom
management, activities, within a block-schedule are discussed. The teacher presents
different activities she has used to motivate and activate students. The TWB

the value of young adolescents, engagement in active, purposeful learning,
